Our Story

I've been a goalie since I was 4 years old.  I can't remember a time that hockey wasn't my biggest passion.  Some of my fondest memories involve walking into an ice rink I'd never been to at 6 a.m. on a Saturday and taking in the smell of the freshly surfaced Ice.  No matter where I happened to be the rink has always felt like home.

In 2017 I had an ongoing issue with my equipment to which there was no commercial solution.  I bought a $25 home sewing machine on craigslist and proceeded to make the ugliest thing I'd ever seen in my life.  But it worked!  From previous endeavors I had a sign cutter and heat press sitting in the closet.  I used them to add a goalie logo to the refined version I had made...I was hooked.  The feeling of pride I had in the moment and subsequent chance encounter on an internet bulletin board with gear making legend Glenn Miller sent me down a path to making goalie equipment. 

From the beginning I knew I didn't want to make mid grade goalie equipment as the market is saturated with that.  I immediately aimed at making the highest quality boutique gear right here in the United States.  When covid hit I had just launched my website and planned to slowly ramp up over a few years.  I immediately made the decision to go all in regardless of what that did to my lifestyle and security.  I sold off my existing business, liquidated my personal possessions and bought a garage full of industrial sewing equipment.  

Since 2020 I've had the pleasure of meeting countless hockey players and providing over 5,000 goalies and parents with high quality gear and accessories.  It's been the hardest thing I've ever done in my life, but I wouldn't change a thing.  As my skills have evolved and blossomed I'm slowly leaning into bigger items and stretching my abilities.  I truly appreciate each and every interaction and sale that this journey has brought me and I hope that shines through in the products that I deliver.  Looking forward to growing with this great community and continuing to do what I love.
